How much does it cost and what are your session times?
Costs are dependent upon which sessions you would like your child to join us for and we have a variety of options to suit your needs.
Below are our current applicable fees* and session times that we offer:
- Full day: £65.37
- Full week: £299.60
- Morning: £42.20
Fees are charged for 50 weeks per year (not 52 weeks) which are then equated into 12 equal monthly payments.
- Fees reviewed annually and are subject to increase on 1st August each year
How can I pay for my nursery place?
Northumbria University Staff
Nursery costs are collected monthly via Payroll. If you are a staff member we can arrange for your fees to be deducted via our tax efficient Salary Sacrifice scheme. A helpful guide to this beneficial scheme is available on the staff intranet here.
Community Users
Nursery costs are collected via direct debit on a monthly basis. Once an allocated place is accepted by you, we ask for a £100 non-refundable deposit in order to secure your child’s place. This will be refunded in full once your child leaves us.
We collect your nursery costs on the 25th of each month following your child’s start date.
Do you accept Childcare Vouchers?
Yes, we are happy to accept vouchers from a wide selection of providers including; Accor, Sodhexopass and Care-4 as well as many others. To find out if we are registered with your particular voucher supplier, please Contact Us.
Do you offer Free Hours via the Government scheme?
Yes! we are pleased to offer the Funded Hours (570 hours) and from September 2017 the Additional Funded Hours (1140 hours) of free early education or childhood hours per year for all eligible 3 and 4 year olds as a ‘Stretched entitlement’ for children attending a full day, morning or afternoon over 50 weeks.
