Facilities
The nursery building, which opened in 2012 incorporates ‘green’ features including sensor and dimmer light technologies to enhance natural light use and reduce unnecessary energy use, and the roof has been planted with sedum to encourage wildlife. The nursery playrooms offer direct access to our outdoor area with sheltered and open play areas, and a large central hall for group activities and special nursery events for you and your child.
Our building has
Dedicated car drop off, pick up parking bays
Spaces always available to park safely when you drive to nursery.
High security

Purpose-built, Eco-friendly Building
We won the Lord Mayors Design Award in 2013 for our purpose-built, eco-friendly building. With a City Centre location it’s easy to get to and has great links to main roads and transport.
Children’s Rooms
All rooms have been specially designed to support children at each stage of their development. Baby, toddler and pre-school rooms provide different kinds of spaces to cater for children’s needs throughout the day and support child-centred learning.
Children have uninhibited access to areas which suit specific activities, such as the creative and play areas which meet changing interests or needs, or a quiet restful area. Low dividers and partitions create different environments and allow staff to easily observe the children, without being intrusive.

Dream Coracles
A ‘coracle’ is a special place for a child to crawl into, a secure place to play or curl up to sleep. Early years experts told us that crawling babies should not be confined in cots, but have freedom to choose when to sleep or rest.
Their design team perceived the need for a sleep option that babies can access themselves – something that still gives the child (and parent) a sense of protection. A firm boundary gives babies a feeling of security. Imagine a cosy sleep space with the encircling sense of mother’s arms for a baby to crawl into.
